Studies on the Korean "CHEONG-GO", a Chinese Herbal Drug

Abstract

From the herbal part of Artemisia japonica which has been used as "CHEONG-GO" for a logn time, a herbal drugs, coumarin derivatives, colorless needle crystal mp. 105˚were isolated.
This substance was, also, identified as Esculetin 6-methyl ether, a cholagogic principles.
